Travel Beggar's Guidelines to Great Travel

As I am getting older, I am trying to find new ways to see & experience the world. I am in constant pursuit of new adventures, new experiences, and plenty of friends to who will experience it all with me. Each of my travels or adventures usually contains the following 5 points:
1) Adventure Activity/Sport
2) Local Food/Spirits
3) Nightlife
4) Cultural/Educational Experience
5) Friends - New & Old
The reason for my 5 points is that I feel that too many people only "surface" travel. They tend to stick to the resorts, the basic amusements, or common sight seeing places. Now don't get me wrong, there is always a good reason for sipping cocktails in an all-inclusive beach resort. However, there are so many adventures that I wish I could experience. Thus, in all my future adventure, I hope to follow my Travel Beggar Guidelines!
What do you think of my 5 Guidelines? Let me know what you think. Send me a reply.
Did you take a really cool trip recently? Did you follow my 5 guidelines without even knowing it...let me know what you did, where you went, and what you thought.

I enrolled with YHA (Youth Hostel Assoc) which has a rich source of travel information, activities, and some travellers offer their services to help out at YHA in exchange for free accommodation. You can actually fulfill all your 5 points through the better-run YHAs.

The YHA in Australia and NZ are very well-organized, clean, systematic and affordable. My siblings and I had our own room which we did not have to share with strangers.

Thanks Jesie,
Of course just getting to Australia & New Zealand would fullfill my 5 points. WHEN I DO..i hate it when people say "IF"...I personally dont think I would care if I slept on the park benches. But hostels are a great way to connect with travellers who are truly there for the adventure!
Do you have a web or affiliate link that I can post here on this posting?
Have a great day

Eric,
In the meantime, I don't have any web or affiliate link. Just my travel blog where I share my travels. It's fine with me if you want to link to my blog. I intend to post travel tips and links when I have some spare time.

If I am a male, I probably wouldn't mind to sleep on the bench too.
